To modernise the overarching look and feel of The Chilterns Conservation Board – the public body conserving and enhancing the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) – we created a completely different, dynamic and brave brand identity and accompanying colour palette. The task was to develop a refreshed brand identity that combined their heritage with a contemporary feel. A modern typeface led the way on the project, alongside a refreshed modern colour palette and graphical brand 'stamp'. Taking the lead from the main logo we created a suite of sub-brand logos to promote particular events. Following the branding process we designed and layed out a new concept for their annual Outstanding Chilterns Magazine and annual review brochure – introducing new, exciting features to bring the collateral to life and stand them apart from other AONBs.
